Groups visiting the Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve are required to obtain a permit. Before arriving to the Nature Preserve on the day of your visitation the education staff will inform the rest of the park staff to be expecting your group. Once arriving at the Nature Preserve an education staff will be notified and will come and meet you, and help to facilitate you through the educational orientation.
