It is with great pleasure that we invite your organization to participate in a alliance aimed at establishing a framework for collaboration in ocean science education in Hawai'i, the newly formed Ocean Literacy Alliance-Hawai'i (OLA-HI), Sponsors include the federal Interagency Working Group for Ocean Education (IWG-OE), National Science Foundation (NSF), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Office of Education, and numerous partners from the University of Hawai'i. We recently held a workshop, where we reviewed ongoing efforts, strengthened existing collaborations, and developed strategies to build new partnerships.
