In response to news of a sewage spill near Kakaako Waterfront Park we conducted a Remus mission to monitor water quality. The mission was setup with a full surface survey of the area and then surface to seafloor measurements along the mission boundaries and the center leg. The vehicle used GPS for navigation and was recovered half way through the mission due to technical complications. It was deployed for 22 minutes and covered a total distance of 2.51km. Data collected includes bathymetry, currents, acoustic backscatter, salinity and temperature.
