WRF Application in Hawaii: Acknowledgements

This project was sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF) under the grant ATM-0140387,by  NOAA under Cooperative Agreement NA17RJ1230. Professor Yi-Leng Chen is the leading scientist of this project.

The simuations are made using the "Rain" computer in the Rain and Wind Study Group of the Department of Atmospheric Sciences, University of Hawaii at Manoa.

The model was set up by Hiep V. Nguyen and DaNa L. Carlis. The daily real-time runs are maintained by the Rain and Wind Study modeling group.
