Supply of artwork files to Praxis
Authors should
supply their artwork in one of the following two formats where
possible:
·
tif files
·
eps files
In the case of eps
files the author must ensure that all the fount information is
included within the
eps file. If this is not possible then the author must ensure
that the text is
converted to curves before saving as the final eps. This prevents
potential fount
issues during book production.
Authors should try
to reach the following standards of artwork resolution:
RGB
Please DO NOT supply
images downloaded from the internet as these are always 72
dpi and are of
insufficient quality.
All the artwork
should be supplied separate from the text. Please DO NOT embed the
images within Word
(or similar files).
The authors should
contact Neil Shuttlewood of Originator Publishing Services at neil@originator-books.com or tel:
00 44 1493 600722, for clarification of any additional artwork issues prior to
the supply of final files.
