Conference Theme

The ISBB 2014 conference will focus on boron, its compounds and related materials, including their formation, structural, chemical, physical, electrical, optical and technological properties and the applications of bulk materials, thin films, surfaces, and nanostructures. The conference will provide a broad overview of the present state-of-art knowledge, new developments, prospects and expectations in these fields. The planned sessions will include both experimental research results, as well as theoretical approaches to modeling and data analyses. The conference embraces a forum for interdisciplinary discussions thus intensifying existing collaboration and facilitating new international cooperation in research and future developments.
