In order to run a Primary Production experiment, we will have to collect water at various depths from a CTD cast. This water is then incubated at the same eight depths from which they are collected by deploying them on our Primary Production array. We will let the array drift free during a full daylight period.

Recovery of free drifting sediment trap

Now that we have recovered the Primary Production array and have picked up the sediment traps, we can continue to our next station.
