Evaporation correction was applied for cruises with salinity samples taken in plastic bottles that were measured more than 14 days after the cruise. The evaporation rate was calculated to be about 0.001 PSU per 15 days.
The following cruises were corrected.
HOT-2, subtracted 0.00092 PSU to all bottle salinities and recalibrated CTD data.
HOT-3, subtracted 0.00135 PSU to all bottle salinities and recalibrated CTD data.

Corrections to HOT-51 were applied due to recently discovered errors during the original data processing (see details in HOT-51 Salinity Corrections). CTD conductivities were recalibrated, and salinity bottles re-flagged.

HOT-105 had problems during bottle salinity measurements due to failure of the bulbs that control the salinometer's bath temperature. This caused a drift in the salinometer measurements, but this problem was not identified when the salinities were originally processed. The bottle salinities were reprocessed correcting for drift, and the CTD conductivities were recalibrated.
HOT-31. Flagged CTD salinities from cast 17 at station 2 uncalibrated. This cast did not have salinity samples.
Recalibrated HOT-49, station 1 cast 1, and station 2 casts 1 and 18 CTD conductivities for a better fit.
