Current Research

Defining the structure and morphology of the Gakkel mid-ocean ridge (MOR) ; SCAMP sidescan and bathymetry data from the SCICEX1998 & 1999 Arctic cruises.
* In collaboration with M. Edwards, B. Coakley, J. Cochran & D. Chayes

Web based distribution of scientific data and online database design for multi-disciplinary datasets collected along the world mid-ocean ridge system.
* In collaboration with M. Edwards & D. Fornari

Investigation of volcanic and tectonic processes along the fast spreading East Pacific Rise (EPR) 9° 44' - 55' N through high-resolution near-bottom imagery.
* In collaboration with M. Edwards & D. Fornari

3-D Bathymetry along the western portion of the Gakkel Ridge depicting an across-axis high, possibly
the
result of long-term
focused volcanic activity.
