The department's large and diverse faculty teach at the undergraduate and graduate level, and conduct research on the full range of topics encompassed within the Earth Sciences.
These individuals focus their efforts primarily on directed research projects. More senior members advise G&G department graduate students.
These individuals are housed in other UH academic departments or research institutes. They are willing and qualified to advise graduate students through the G&G department, effectively broadening the scope of the department's offerings.
These individuals are at institutions other than UH Mānoa, and are both qualified and willing to help advise graduate students in the G&G department.
Our friendly and efficient research and administrative staff work in labs and offices throughout the department and are an integral and important part of the GG family.
Doctoral and masters students work closely with other departmental personnel while pursuing their degrees. Many students also hold either research or teaching assistantships in the department.
