Research
A glimpse at the research I performed at University of Alaska Fairbanks with the Alaska Volcano Observatory as well as current research at the University of Hawaii
Manoa, pertaining to remote sensing of active volcanism.
Theses and other products
Includes my Univ. Alaska Fairbanks Master's thesis on lava cooling modeling at Okmok volcano and my Bachelor's thesis at Cornell on
geomorphology. I've also included information sheets on satellite characteristics and measuring temperature from Landsat ETM digital numbers.
Von Cramm
During my four years at Cornell I lived at a residence cooperative called Von
Cramm, and this section includes information and work I have done for the house. I was House Manager for 2.5 years, and wrote a
comprehensive House Manager Handbook for my posterity.
Outdoor Work and Information
This section includes a guide I wrote for the trailless peaks of the Adirondacks, as well as some of my outing journals from the Long Trail (1
month), Northville-Placid Trail (1 week), a 13 day marathon hike of all Adirondack 46'ers, and a two month stay in Argentina.
