Arriving at Honolulu International Airport

Getting to the lab

By Taxi

Tell the taxi driver you wish to go to 1960 East-West Rd on the campus of the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. He or should should know how to get there. The fare is approximately $35-40.

By Bus

Busses won't accept passengers with luggage. Unless you have only one suitcase, which you can carry in your lap, you will have to take a cab or rent a car. Take the #6 bus. This goes to the campus. A single trip with one transfer is $2.25 as of 7/1/2009.

The bus from the Airport to campus can be difficult... only the #19 and #20 stop at the Airport (both go to Waikiki), but neither go to campus, so you need to transfer.  If you want to use the bus, you can access timetables and maps at http://www.thebus.org/
