Seismology studies by my group include imaging of the interior of the earth, earthquake monitoring, and acoustic detection and tracking of marine mammals. Seagoing expeditions utilize natural and artificial sources to image the crust and mantle in a variety of settings, particularly in areas of magmatism.

Geographically, our research has included the Eastern Lau Spreading Center, the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, the East Pacific Rise, the Mohns Ridge, the Reykjanes Ridge and Iceland, HawaiĠi, and the Kolbeinsey Ridge.
