Fred & Terri at the SOEST Party at the Fall 2003 AGU (this may be the ONLY time you see Fred in a coat and tie...)
Fred got his BS in Physics at Trinity College, Hartford, CT, and his MS (1968) and PhD (1972) in geophysics at the University of Hawaii. He has a daughter and son, both physics majors from Franklin & Marshall College, and his wife, Terri, provides ship support for the Shipboard Technical Assistance Group (STAG).

Fred teaches introductory geology, introductory geophysics, and graduate courses in experimental seismology and signal procesing.
