TCP/IP User Comm Port

 

TCP/IP User interface:

          The TCP/IP user communication interface is one of three possible interfaces (5, 6).  This is a hardware dependent item and thus is selected prior to deployment.  The interface is a transformer isolated TCP/IP interface and is dynamically programmable to one of two Ethernet switches inside observatory (14). The two switches provide communication path redundancy.
