Aloha Cabled Observatory Engineering Documentation Non-isolated Full Power Breaker
High-Power Local Port Programmable Non-Isolated Circuit Breaker Each of the six low-voltage ports have power distributed to them by the observatory. This is done by six circuit breakers; one for each user experiment. The circuit breaker provides 48VDC at eight programmable trip levels. This module is a hardware dependent item and thus is selected prior to deployment. Since this breaker is not isolated, it can potentially supply a large portion of the total bus power to this single user. The maximum power allocated to this breaker is yet to be determined and will be programmed in eight steps.
