ACO Update

  • 10/29/08

Due to unforeseen complications in the deployment of the ALOHA Cabled Observatory, the Live Audio link will be unavailable until further notice. Please check back soon for further information.

  • 10/20/08

For those listening at 6:30 PM HST, you heard a large bang.  That was a
navigation transponder glass ball that imploded about 70 meters directly
above the hydrophone as we were preparing to set down the observatory
package.  We are now on our way back to the surface to get the spare and
try again. Delay to schedule is roughly 12 hours.
