ACO Update

• The Humpbacks are back!!! Humpbacks were heard on the ALOHA hydrophone for the first time this winter on December 18, 2007.

• The streaming server is back in operation. The Minke and Fin whales have returned to Hawaiian waters, but still no Humpbacks. You can hear the whales live by clicking on the 'Live from ACO' button on the ACO home page.

• Phase II installation of the ACO is scheduled for October 17-28, 2008 on the RV Thomas G. Thompson.
