Course Objective

Course is lecture based presenting a rapid-paced survey of geology and geophysics for graduate students. Includes origin of the solar system, tectonics, volcanology, whole-earth composition, phase transformations, petrology (igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary), historical geology, and hydrology. Includes Saturday field trips
