Data updates - November 18, 1998

There have been a few changes which you should be aware of. There are some data files which should be reacquired via ftp as they have been updated. Our ftp site is: mana.soest.hawaii.edu and the files are in the /pub/seacat directory.

Timing problems were found with the instruments attached to the 2S 156E mooring during 1993-1994. Files affected were: sc10882.fnl, sc10902.fnl, sc10922.fnl, sc10932.fnl, sc10992.fnl, sc9651.fnl, sc9661.fnl and sc9671.fnl. A problem was found in the sample interval between records which caused an overall timing difference of as much as 3 days by the end of the Seacat records. As of November 18, 1998, these files have been corrected and updated.
